Situated in 10-acres of lush, green grounds, Yeovil Crematorium is managed by a joint committee of local authorities.
The crematorium, on the northern edge of Yeovil town, was built in 1971 to serve the people of southern Somerset. The 94-seater chapel is wheelchair friendly, and has a peaceful waiting room for families to comfortably wait for their loved one’s funeral service to begin.
The Gardens of Remembrance surrounded by fruit trees offer a place of tranquillity to scatter ashes. You may also choose to remember your loved one with a rose bush marked with a bronze plaque. Other memorial choices, such as an inscribed marble tablet or headstone, are available. Please enquire with staff for your full options.
Two car parks offer limited parking, but plans for the refurbishment of the entire facility are in the works to help Yeovil Crematorium continue to serve the community for many years to come.
