Wigan Crematorium serving bereaved families in the local area is the ideal location if your are looking to arrange a memorable cremation funeral for a loved one.

Part or all of the funeral service can be arranged at the crematorium chapel which is equipped with modern facilities such as a plasma screen TV which can display photos or a slideshow during the service. For an additional charge, the team can create a professionally edited photo slideshow timed along with your choice of music. Families are free to choose their own songs and hymns which can be played at the service. For additional charges, the service may be recorded and webcast live for those who are not able to make it on the day.

The cremation can take place within 24 hours of the funeral service. The ashes may be scattered in a garden of remembrance or taken away by the family for scattering, or interment in private spot, cemetery, churchyard or treasured in an urn.

Memorials can be purchased online from the memorial services shop on the Wigan Council website.
