About Us

Treswithian Downs Crematorium is a purpose built, modern crematorium in Cornwall, with the largest purpose built cremation chapel in the county.

The crematorium is set within 7 acres of beautifully maintained countryside, and is among the most environmentally friendly crematoria in Europe. The chapel is able to seat 96 people with standing space for a further 50. Speakers are also located in the lobby area and outside of the chapel allowing larger congregations to be catered for.

Set slightly away from the chapel, the floral tribute area offers a quiet spot to gather with friends and family after the service. Floral tributes will remain on display outside for a minimum of three nights, unless otherwise instructed.

There are approximately 70 parking spaces at Treswithian Downs, with more parking available within the grounds. There are also 4 disabled parking spaces.

The crematorium office at Treswithian Downs is open every weekday from 9am - 5pm, with the gardens and book of remembrance open until 6pm in the Spring and Summer, and 5pm during Autumn and Winter.
