Thanet Crematorium
About Us
Thanet Crematorium is located on Manston Road and has been open since 1966.
With multiple gardens of rest, a woodland burial ground, a rose garden and mature trees that you can adopt, Thanet Crematorium offers a great deal of choice for memorialising and remembering your loved one.
There is one chapel in the crematorium which can seat approximately 80 people, with additional standing space. The crematorium chapel is fitted with a bespoke music system supplied by Wesley Media and music for each service can be requested via your funeral director. Friends and family who are unable to attend the service now have the opportunity to view the service from anywhere in the world by a secure webcam service.
Thanet Crematorium office is open from 9am to 4:30pm on weekdays, and closed on weekends and bank holidays. The Crematorium Grounds and Remembrance Chapel are open to the public daily from 9am until 6pm (March to September), 9am until 5pm (October to February) and until 4pm at weekends and on bank holidays.
