St Marylebone Crematorium in East Finchley is a peaceful place to arrange a unique funeral for your loved one.A cremation at this North London crematorium includes use of the chapel, digital music system, floral decoration for the chapel, provision of a urn or container, scattering of ashes in the memorial garden, with ashes kept for collection up to eight weeks after the funeral.
Situated in the London borough of Barnet, the welcoming chapel at the crematorium can accommodate up to 148 seated mourners and 20 standing.
An additional 30 people can be accommodated in the foyer which is equipped with speakers.
The East Finchley crematorium’s Garden of Rest has been nurtured as a living memorial. It has a rich variety of blossom trees, flowering shrubs, spring bulbs, ornamental trees and rose beds. Families can choose to dedicate a rose plant, tree or shrub to a loved one.
Other memorial choices after a cremation funeral at St Marylebone Crematorium include the purchase of a garden or alpine plot, a boulder tablet garden plot, a vase block, a bird table, memory board or wall tablet.
A columbarium offers sealed and open niches for the deposit of ashes and urns respectively. The Book of Remembrance, which is available to view every day of the year, offers a chance for families to create a personalised tribute to their loved one’s memory. Memorial cards and booklets with copies of the original inscriptions can also be ordered.
Families can also make an appointment with a memorial counsellor who can discuss personal requests and help families choose a fitting memorial for their loved one.
Facilities at St Marylebone Crematorium for people with a disability include a loop system, ramps or level access, a wheelchair and car parking. There is plenty of car parking available at the premises - 90 spaces.
