About Us

Southport Crematorium in Scarisbrick is located in the midst of 32 acres of woodland making it a peaceful environment to arrange a cremation for a loved one.

Seating about 100 people, the crematorium chapel has modern facilities such as the Welsey music system which has thousands of pieces of funeral music to choose from. Alternatively, the chapel also has an electric organ which can be used at no extra cost. There is a hearing loop system installed at the crematorium chapel.

Families can choose to have an everlasting memorial to their loved one by entering the details of their loved one in the Book of Remembrance which can be found in the Book of Remembrance Room. Or, they may purchase a memorial plaque in the woodland glades which is displayed near the crematorium office.

Car parking spaces are available including disabled parking.

The Office is open on weekdays between 9 am to 12.30 pm and 1 pm to 4.30 pm.
