About Us
Sedgemoor Crematorium in Somerset serves communities in the areas around Highbridge and Bridgewater.
The standard duration of services at Sedgemoor Crematorium is 45 minutes. Services start every 60 minutes to allow for arrival and departure.
The multi-faith chapel has seating for 100 mourners. Pieces of music at the funeral can also be selected from a digital music system. Flowers can be displayed on the crematorium's flower terrace for at least 3 days after the service.
Services can be broadcast on speakers to people outside the chapel and also webcast to people who cannot attend the service in person. The service can also be recorded onto a CD or DVD.
A range of traditional and contemporary memorials can be installed in the gardens of remembrance, including living memorials. Sedgemoor Crematorium also has a partnership with a company that can produce bespoke personalised cremation jewellery and glass art from your loved one's ashes.
The office at Sedgemoor Crematorium is open 9am-5pm Monday to Friday all year round.
On weekdays the gardens of remembrance are open 9am to 6pm, April to September and 9am-5pm, October to March. On weekends the gardens are open 10am-4:30pm all year round.
The book of remembrance chapel is 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday and 9am-4:30pm on weekends, all year round.
