About Us
Rotherham Crematorium in East Herringthorpe, Rotherham has served local communities since the 1960s. The multifaith chapel has an organ for live performance of music, but pieces can also be selected from the Wesley Music System. There is disabled access, disabled toilets and a hearing loop. There is a waiting area for people who arrive early for the service. The gardens of remembrance include a memorial to Normandy veterans and anyone who has served in the armed forces. The crematorium office and memorial office are open 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. The book of remembrance room is open 9am-4:15pm Monday to Friday and 10am-4pm at weekends. The gardens of remembrance are open 9am-7pm Monday to Friday, April to October and 8am-5pm Monday to Friday, November to March. The gardens are also open on Saturdays, 9am-7pm, April to October, and 9am-5pm, November to March, and on Sundays and bank holidays, 10am-7pm, April to October, and 10-5pm, November to March.
