Rochdale Crematorium
About Us
Rochdale Crematorium on Bury Road, was built in the 1930s to help families in the local area have a cremation funeral for their loved ones. The peaceful crematorium chapel may be used for funeral services for up to 60 people. Cremations can be held on weekdays between 10 am and 3 pm. Funeral services usually take place every 40 minutes, but if required, a double slot can be reserved in advance.
Families can offer an everlasting tribute to the person who has died by adding an entry into the Book of Remembrance placed in the Book of Remembrance room which is open every day of the year. You may also place your loved one’s interred remains in a memorial niche wall at Rochdale Crematorium
There are toilet facilities and drinking water taps available at the grounds.
