Robin Hood Crematorium was opened in 1958 and is located within 45 acres of land that is made up of Robin Hood cemetery alongside ancient woodland, traditional graves, lawn graves, cremated remains graves, remembrance gardens set aside for the scattering of cremated remains and specialised memorial areas

The crematorium chapel was modified and extended in 2017 and there is now space for 80 seated mourners, or 120 standing. There is an organ available for use in the chapel, as well as a modern Wesley Media system which you can use to play any music that you wish for.

Robin Hood Crematorium office is open from 9am every day apart from Sundays and bank holidays when it opens at 10am. It closes at 4:15pm from November to January, at 5pm in February, March and October, and at 6pm from April to September. On Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day the crematorium is open from 10am until 2:30pm.
