About Us

The Putney Vale Cemetery and Crematorium is a beautifully historic facility in one of the greenest areas of London near Richmond Park, Putney Heath, and Wimbledon Common. The crematorium, which was established in 1938 has been the location of many famous funerals including former England football captain, Bobby Moore.

The two chapels, West and East, can host 70 to 80 guests with standing space for up to 30. For larger funerals, Putney Vale Crematorium is able to relay the service to external speakers from one chapel to another. The music system and organ are available to play songs and hymns in your loved one’ memory.

The surrounding gardens and woodland are a tranquil setting to scatter ashes. There are also many options for commemorative plaques and memorial walls in the Garden of Remembrance to remember your loved one.
