Overdale Crematorium caters to local communities in Overdale and those who will be buried at Bolton Council Cemeteries.

Services at Overdale Crematorium include cremation funerals which can be held at the chapel and the scattering of ashes which can take place at the memorial garden. For an extra fee, you can extend the time of service at the chapel. If you wish to hold a cremation on Saturday, you can do so if discussed in advance and this will also incur additional charges.

Memorial options include entry into the Book of Remembrance or granite memorials such as a vase block, kerb memorial or sanctum - an above ground vault large enough to hold two ashes caskets.

The crematorium is open on weekdays from 8.30 am to 5.45 pm, and on weekends and bank holidays from 10 am to 2 pm.
