About Us
Mason Hill Crematorium is set in seven acres of Ayrshire countryside on the eastern edge of Ayr. The crematorium has been serving the local community since it was built in 1966.The doors of Mason Hill Crematorium are open to funeral services of all religious faiths and denominations as well as non-religious celebrations of life and humanist funerals. The experienced staff are ready to help accommodate any spiritual considerations your loved one wished to observe.
The tastefully decorated chapel has seating for 155 people as well as extra standing room for larger funerals. A hearing loop and large print hymn books are available.
The crematorium office is open from Monday to Thursday, 8:45am to 4:45pm, and Friday, 8:45am to 4:00pm. The book of remembrance room is open Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 4:00pm and on Saturdays and bank holidays from 10:00am to 1:00pm. The crematorium grounds are open all year round for people to come and pay their respects.
There is ample on-site parking including disabled parking spaces, and on-site toilet facilities including disabled toilets.
