Markeaton Crematorium in Derby, Derbyshire, is located just off leafy Markeaton Park and offers a tranquil location for funeral services.

With facilities suitable for funerals of any faith or denomination, as well as non-religious funerals and celebrations of life, this crematorium has two funeral chapels – The Main Chapel and The Round Chapel.

Funeral services at the Derby crematorium can be booked for weekdays between 9am and 3.20pm and are allocated 40 minutes. Additional time for funeral services, as well as weekend funerals can be arranged, subject to additional fee.

Each chapel has a Wesley music system with a wide variety of music available.

Both chapels have toilet facilities in their waiting areas and are wheelchair accessible, with a small parking area close to the main buildings for drivers with a disability.

Markeaton Crematorium offers interment and the scattering of ashes in is memorial grounds, with a range of memorial masonry and other tributes available. The grounds are open to visitors seven days a week, with parking available.
