About Us
Lancaster and Morecambe Crematorium was opened in 1963 to cater to the local community in Lancashire and surrounding areas. The crematorium is situated in 14 miles of peaceful countryside, offering a relaxed environment to organise a dignified cremation funeral for a loved one.The chapel crematorium can accommodate large groups and the service time can be up to 45 minutes. Funeral music can also be provided and families can speak to the crematorium staff for a list of options. Weekend services are also available at an additional charge. Ashes can be scattered or buried in the beautiful gardens of remembrance. From roses to private gardens, there are various memorial options to honour the life of your loved one.
Facilities for the disabled at the crematorium include access, toilets, a hearing loop system and Braille service books. There are 65 parking space with 2 parking spaces for the disabled.

The office and memorial office is open on weekdays from 9 am to 5 pm, while the grounds are open 24/7.
