Kirkleatham Memorial Park and Crematorium
About Us
The Kirkleatham Memorial Park and Crematorium is located between Kirkleatham and the village of Yearby on the Fishponds Road just off the A174.
The memorial gardens and cemetery have been designed and built to blend in with the beautiful Tees Valley, with the crematorium overlooked by the historical Cleveland Hills and Yearby Bank.
The crematorium chapel seats 100 people, and has the potential to stand and seat 200 by including the foyer space. There is even more space outside, with the ability to accommodate services of over 400 people on the site by piping the service outside under the porte-cochere. Parking for 60 vehicles is also available with overflow capacity for around an additional 40 cars.
The chapel is fully accessible, and contains a hearing loop to assist those with hearing difficulties. There is a fully equipped Obitus music system, as well as an organ, and two plasma screens for video or picture tributes.
Services at Kirkleatham Memorial Park are 1-hour as standard, which includes time for arrival and departure. There are a wide range of memorial options available at the facility, including natural burial with no marker at all.
The memorial park is open from 9am to 5pm during the week, and from 10am until 4pm on weekends and bank holidays. The crematorium office is open from 9am until 5pm every weekday.
