About Us
Kent and Sussex Crematorium in Royal Tunbridge Wells has served local communities in the surrounding areas since the 1950s. The design and facilities of the crematorium, and its gardens of remembrance, have been expanded and improved several times since its first cremation on 8 December, 1958.The crematorium has one multi-faith chapel that can seat up to 90 people. There is space for an additional 30 people to stand during the service. An open-air flower court is attached to the chapel.
The standard service time is 45 minutes, but the first and last two services of each day are 30 minutes. Services at Kent and Sussex Crematorium can be webcast to people who cannot attend in person, and both audio and visual recordings can be arranged.
Music can be played on a digital system and also performed on the chapel's organ. Visual tributes can also be displayed in the chapel during the service.
A range of memorials can be installed in the gardens of remembrance at Kent and Sussex Crematorium.
