About Us

Hutcliffe Wood Crematorium is based southwest of Sheffield city centre, and is run by the local authority.

The 1970s building is modern in design, and has accessible toilets, stair lifts and ramps, large print service books, and induction loops for disabled guests. The chapel is spacious, with seating for up to 150 people. There is an organ available for traditional music choices, or an advance digital music system for your loved one's favourite commercially available songs.

The Gardens of Remembrance at Hutcliffe Wood Crematorium are set in 9 acres of land, with many attractive spaces to memorialise your loved one’s life. Whether it be on a plaque, or a memorial bench, the staff at the crematorium with carefully guide you through the various options.

There is plentiful parking at the site and an entrance on Periwood or Hutcliffe Wood Lane.
