Howe Bridge Crematorium in Manchester is situated in the midst of tranquil gardens in the rural countryside, making it a peaceful environment for a dignified cremation funeral. Catering to bereaved families across Lancashire, the crematorium staff are happy to work with your funeral director to create a personalised and memorable funeral.The brick and timber crematorium chapel is spacious and well-lit and is open to funerals of all faiths and beliefs. It can accommodate up to 86 guests, with further standing space available. A funeral service may take place every 45 minutes, and an extended service can be arranged on payment of an additional charge. The chapel is equipped with a modern sound system with a selection of digital music and loudspeakers to relay the service for larger groups which may gather outside. Families have the choice to play pre-recorded music for the service, organ music or a combination of hymns, that best reflect the wishes of the family or loved one. There is an area set aside for floral tributes which is a quiet space for family and friends to grieve their loved one in silence.
Howe Bridge Crematorium offers a number of memorial options including living memorials such as family gardens, trees or shrub beds, traditional memorials such as cremation tablets, above ground vaults and mini graves, and contemporary memorials such as bird baths, benches and sundials.
There are 36 parking spaces available, and the crematorium is also equipped with a loop system and toilets.
The Office and gardens are open on weekdays from 9 am to 5 pm.
