Glyntaff Crematorium
About Us
Glyntaff Crematorium was opened in 1924 and for almost thirty years was the only crematorium serving the whole of Wales.
Glyntaff has two chapels, both of traditional design, and any type of service can be arranged. The crematorium grounds are beautifully maintained and designed to add to the dignity of the service. The service can also be webcast online, or saved to a DVD or USB drive as a keepsake.
There are a wide range of memorial options for your loved ones ashes at Glyntaff Crematorium. These include: Scattering on the Old Gardens Lawns which are situated behind the Columbarium; scattering on the New Memorial Garden Lawns which are situated around the Book of Remembrance Chapel; loosely deposited at an existing or new Rose Bush; interred in a new or old plot, columbarium or family grave.
All crematorium and cemeteries in Rhondda Cynon Taf are open for visiting daily from 9am to 4:30pm every weekday and holiday (including Christmas), from 9am until 7pm on Summer weekends, and from 9am until 4:30pm during Winter weekends.
