Gloucester Crematorium
About Us
Gloucester Crematorium is located on Coney Hill Road, and is set in over 65 acres of beautiful grounds and woodlands.
The facilities at Gloucester Crematorium are first-class, with a recent inspection awarding the crematorium full marks. The chapel seats up to 120 people and is equipped with a hearing aid loop and accessible disabled toilets.
There are two rooms you can use for hospitality within The Arbor of Gloucester Crematorium. The Mulberry Wake Room is available for groups of up to 80 people, and includes a multimedia system and a fully licensed bar, which is stocked with a wide range of bottled beers, ciders and wines. The Willows Tea Room is a smaller space, which can be reserved for up to 40 people. The Tea Room serves tea, coffee, sandwiches, soup and handmade cakes in a bright and airy setting.
The crematorium offers memorial options that range from 20 year leases of plaques and benches, to lifetime purchases of path blocks, with many options in between.
Gloucester Crematorium office is open from 9am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. The Arbor Rooms are open from 10am to 4pm during weekdays. The crematorium grounds, including the Gardens of Memory and Woodland Burial Grounds, are open from 8am to 6pm in the Summer months, and from 8am to 5pm during Winter, although there is 24 hour access available via two small kissing gates outside of these hours.
