About Us
East Lancashire Crematorium in Radcliffe opened in 2007 to cater to bereaved families across Lancashire and Greater Manchester. The crematorium building sits within tranquil grounds, and offers a peaceful location for a cremation funeral.The crematorium is open to members of all religions and beliefs and funeral services can be personalised according to the family’s wishes. Every funeral service can run up to 45 minutes. Families may pay an extra charge to arrange a weekend service, a private memorial service or if they would like to extend the service time.
The crematorium chapel is equipped with modern facilities such as the Wesley sound system. Funeral music can be chosen from the extensive list of music or you can choose to have a musician play traditional organ music.
The friendly team at East Lancashire Crematorium are happy to answer any queries about facilities, funeral options and memorial tributes, and will support funeral directors in helping families organise a memorable funeral for their loved one.
There are 87 parking spaces available with 2 for the disabled. There is also disabled access and toilets available at the crematorium.
The Memorial Office and Crematorium Office are open on weekdays from 9 am to 5 pm, and the grounds are open everyday from 9 am to 5 pm. Call to make an appointment to view the memorial garden or crematorium.
