Distington Hall Crematorium in Cumbria is situated in a peaceful environment and caters to bereaved communities across Copeland and the south of Allerdale.

There is a tranquil chapel of remembrance near the crematorium building which can be used by families to grieve in private or to organise a fitting funeral service.

Families can choose to remember their loved ones by an entry into the Book of Remembrance which is displayed at the chapel. Floral tributes can also be placed in the vases located in the chapel. The online version of the Book of Remembrance can be viewed online at anytime. You can also honour the life of a loved one by dedicating a wooden memorial bench, and in addition, a stainless steel memorial plaque that can be attached to it.
