Catering to the local community in North Norfolk, Cromer Crematorium offers a peaceful setting for a funeral. The modern crematorium, which was opened in January 2017, has been made using natural materials and local flint stone to match the natural woodlands which surrounds it.

Funeral services at Cromer Crematorium chapel can be held for up to 60 minutes, and an extended service can be arranged for a fee. Floral tributes are welcome, and will be kept for on display for a minimum of two days. The chapel can accommodate up to 100 mourners.

The multi-faith chapel can be used for any type of funeral service, and can be decorated to accommodate any religion, faith or belief.

Any choice of music can be played on the digital music system at the premises, and a DVD and audio recording facilities allows the service to be recorded and webcast if required. The service can also be recorded onto a CD that can be kept by the family or given to those who were not able to attend.

A TV screen at the chapel may be used to display a photo or video montage or slideshow capturing your loved one’s life. There is also an organ that can be used by families who would like live music at the service.

Families can choose from a wide range of memorials. From traditional memories such as a cremation tablet, garden memorial or a mini grave to living memorials such as a family garden or a communal bed - the staff at Cromer Crematorium can help you select a fitting tribute. There is also a Book of Remembrance where families can enter details about their loved one.

The friendly team are at hand to advice on any aspect of the funeral service and are happy to guide families through the premises and explain options available to them.There is ample parking space available on-site.

While the Grounds are open 24/7 on all days of the year, the office is open from 9 am to 5 pm from Monday to Friday.
