About Us
Crewe Crematorium in Market Close, Crewe was opened in 1957 and is available for cremation funerals to members of all faiths and denominations.Bereaved families are free to organise any kind of funeral service, whether that is religious, non-religious or secular. The team are happy to support families who want to arrange a personalised and dignified farewell for their loved one. Either the entire service can take place at the chapel or part of it held elsewhere with a short committal the crematorium before or after the cremation.
The crematorium chapel can accommodate up to 68 guests, and is equipped with a loop system for those who have trouble hearing, and has disabled access. Every funeral service can be up to 40 minutes long, but this can be extended if requested in advance.
Families can choose to commemorate their loved ones by dedicating a memorial plaque or entering details into the Book of Remembrance at Crewe Crematorium.
There is plenty of parking space, including disabled parking available at Crewe Crematorium. Toilet facilities are available at the chapel, and toilets for the disabled are in the works.
The book room will be open on weekdays from 8.30 am to 4 pm and on weekends and bank holidays from 8.30 am to 4 pm.
