Chester Crematorium sits within the grounds of Blacon cemetery and serves members of the local community across Chester.

The crematorium building has modern facilities including digital technology which allows recording of the funeral service, as well as the display of photos to accompany the ceremony. The modern and welcoming crematorium chapel has plenty of space to accommodate large groups of mourners, and also has standing space outside the chapel.

Families can choose to remember their loved ones via an entry into the Book of Remembrance or via a grave plot in the memorial garden at Chester Crematorium. You can also access the Book of Remembrance online.

Toilet facilities are available in the Crematorium chapel building, as well as plenty of parking space. The Crematorium office is open on weekdays from 9 am to 4 pm.

The grounds are open from 8 am to 7 pm from April to September and from 8 am to 5 pm from October to March. The book of remembrance room is open from 8 am to 7 pm from April to September and from 8 am to 5 pm from October to March.
