Overlooking Carlisle and the Solway Plain, Carlisle Crematorium is situated on Dalston Road and serves bereaved families in the local area.

Carlisle Crematorium will support a flexible funeral service for those who prefer a cremation. The whole committal service can take place at the crematorium chapel or part of the service can be held at another place of worship followed by a service at the crematorium. Alternatively, a civil ceremony may take places or no service at all.

There are a range of memorial options available including bronze or granite plaques, teak seats, remembrance cards, memorial vases and tablets, garden memorials and entry into the Book of Remembrance.

There is free parking near the Crematorium building and toilets including disabled toilet facilities are available.

The Crematorium building is open on weekdays from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm and from 1 pm to 4.30 pm on weekends and bank holidays.
