Cardross Crematorium
About Us
Cardross Crematorium is situated in a rural setting with beautiful views across the river Clyde.The crematorium seats 161 people, including 24 in a gallery. Services can be accompanied by music played live by the crematorium’s organist, and there are also facilities for playing pieces recorded on CDs or cassette. Services at Cardross Crematorium are available every hour between 9:15 am and 3:15 pm, Monday-Friday, and at 09:30am and 10:30am on Saturdays. For information service durations please contact the crematorium directly.
The Book of Remembrance room is open every day between 9am and 4pm. The Books of Remembrance are hand-bound in leather with pages made from calf-vellum. The pages are turned every day so that the name of a loved one will be visible on the anniversary of their death every year.
Cremation ashes can be scattered in the Garden of Remembrance, but installing headstones is not possible.
