About Us
Bretby Crematorium is a peaceful and quiet crematorium, located near the A511 between Burton and Swadlincote. The natural grounds are encompassed by woodland, making Bretby a beautiful haven for reflection and contemplation.Both of the chapels at the crematorium have separate waiting areas, and covered spaces for floral tributes. In the grounds of the crematorium there are no plaques, memorial stones, or rose beds - the entire area is allowed to grow as a natural woodland.
The grounds and book of remembrance are open everyday from 9am to 5pm, and the crematorium office is open 9-5 on weekdays.
