Birmingham Crematorium is conveniently located in Perry Barr, with good transport links to the city centre.

The crematorium is open to people of all faiths and denominations as well as non-religious funerals. Services run for 60 minutes from 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, with altered pricing outside of these hours. Reduced price services are available at 9:30am, Monday to Friday.

The chapel can accommodate large services and has disabled access, disabled toilets, braille hymn books and a hearing loop. Included in the cremation fees is access to music for the service.

The Birmingham Crematorium office is open from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday and one Saturday every four weeks. The grounds are open in Summer from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday and from 10:00am to 4:00pm, Saturday and Sunday. In winter they are open from 9:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, and 10:00am to 4:00pm Saturday and Sunday. The book of remembrance room is open from 9:00am to 4:45pm, Monday to Friday and 10:00am to 4:00pm, Saturday and Sunday.

There is parking for 50 cars, including 2 disabled parking spaces.
