Amber Valley Memorial Park and Crematorium in Swanwick, Derbyshire is located in the quiet countryside between Alfreton and Swanwick and caters to the Derbyshire area. The crematorium has been designed to blend into the natural surroundings and their Garden of Remembrance offers memorials exclusively made from British stone.

This Derbyshire crematorium offers cremation, natural burial and traditional burial. Its chapel seats 100 people but with standing room can accommodate up to 200 mourners.

For larger funeral services, Amber Valley Memorial Park can accommodate up to 400 people by piping the service to a sheltered outdoor area.

The chapel is outfitted with a range of modern audio-visual technology including plasma televisions, public address systems, a Wesley music system as well as an organ. They also provide web cam systems for webcasting to those unable to attend a service. There is a hearing loop within the chapel to assist the hard of hearing.

The crematorium has onsite parking for 60 vehicles with overflow parking available for a further 40 vehicles.

Service times at Amber Valley Memorial Park and Crematorium are available at one hour intervals and can be extended upon request.

Services of all faiths and denominations can be accommodated here, as well as non-religious funerals and celebrations of life. Services may also be requested outside of normal hours and at weekends.
